立命館大学文学部日本文学を専攻、古典、古典美術を学ぶ
『万葉人のすまい』論文をきっかけに暮らしへの関心を高める
インテリアデザイン、建築設計事務所を経て、二級建築士を取得
日常の中からしずくのように落ちてくるものをかたちにと自然の恵みと人の手や心によって生み出される手仕事のものづくりを始める
gallery白田では、工藝の可能性を作り手と共に考えていく企画展を催している
2015年4月『工藝新聞 タタター』発刊

Kogei Designer, founder of gallery Hakuden
Born 1975, Fukuoka
Majored in Japanese literature at Department of Literature, Ritsumeikan University.
Studied Classics and Classical Art, and began to develop an interest towards lifestyle and
livelihood through her thesis “The Houses of the Manyo People”
Worked at an interior design and architectural office, later achieving her qualification as
a registered architect of the second class.
Began engaging in handwork and craftsmanship that is born through the blessings of nature
and the mindfulness and care of human hands, with intents to give form to the things that
fall like droplets from within the everyday.
Organizes exhibitions at gallery Hakuden that attempt to consider the possibilities of Kogei
with creators across diverse fields.
Commenced the publication Newspaper of Kogei “Tathata” in April 2015.
